About Al

I’m dedicated to creating personalized ceremonies that reflect your unique love story. Whether traditional, modern, or completely your own, I’ll help craft a meaningful celebration—your day, your way.

My life

I was born and raised on the Prairies, living in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario over the years. I’ve been married for more than 40 years, and together my wife and I have two adult daughters and a granddaughter who brings so much joy to our lives. People often recognize me for my “Harder Humour,” and I love spending time watching movies, reading, traveling, and connecting with others.

My work

As an ordained minister and Certified Wedding Officiant in Ontario, I’ve had the privilege of performing hundreds of ceremonies across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and now Ontario. I also hold a diploma in Career Development and have had the opportunity to help many people navigate their career choices. Along the way, I’ve trained and facilitated groups in both professional and volunteer sectors, which has been incredibly fulfilling.

my passion

I love sports, both playing and watching, and reading, especially mystery novels—James Patterson is one of my favorite authors. I’m always eager to travel and immerse myself in new places, and I have a deep appreciation for movies, with Star Wars, the Bourne Identity series, and comedies topping my list.

How it started

I started doing weddings in Alberta as a Youth Pastor. I really enjoyed meeting new people and helping them see their dream weddings come true. I moved across provinces and did weddings in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and have been performing unforgettable weddings in Ontario now for the last 27 years.
